  2. Payments by Debit Card

    Payments by debit card are a good option, however they come at a price of about 2% per transaction. Is this feasible? Who should pay that fee? Tenants? Landlords?

  3. Faster Funds Disbursement

    Currently the payments through RenterUp take 5-7 business days. As a landlord, I would like to receive payments within 1-3 business days.

  4. Lease expiration reminder

    Lease expiration reminders. I would love to be able to say when the lease expires and set a date (30/60/90 days) out to remind me to contact tenants for renewal info.

  5. Include Vendors on Maintenance Requests

    It would be great if there were a way that maintenance requests could also be sent to a handyman. It would be even better if they could also have a login so that we could keep track of messages regarding said maintenance issue. It would also be helpful to be able to pay them through RenterUp.

  6. Export payment details to PDF

    I highly recommend giving an option to save payment details to pdf format. I used this feature with Williampaid every month to save records for myself.

    The ability to store generic "notes" about tenants, plus the ability to store alternative contact information, e.g. personal cell number, work cell number, etc.

  9. Improve Property Quickview Section (Landlords)

    How can we best utilize the Property Quickview section for landlords with many properties?

    Some options:

    1.) Provide a toggle for switching between the subset of properties vs. a paginated table view of all properties.

    2.) Ability to manually "pin" certain properties to the dashboard.

    3.) Automatically determine which four properties to show based on various criteria, e.g. rent is late.
    - what criteria would be important for this?

    4.) Randomly choose, with a preference for properties that have images. (This is what we're doing currently.)

    Help us prioritize these options, or let us know if you think of another…

  10. Document (receipt) management

    a simple process maybe with evernote or something like that to scan invoices and quotes. has to be simple and something you could do with a smart phone. take a pic of it and store it.

  11. Shared database of service contractors

    shared database of service contractor for all landlords or tenants to contact, with ratings.

    also include a history of invoices/quotes that can be scanned and stored for reference and expense tracking and tax write off purposes.

    Do you often get bad checks? Are they from chronic offenders? We are exploring potential partnerships (2015) with providers that can help us flag and alert landlords of potentially risky check writers. How important is this to you?
