About Messages and Maintenance Requests

RenterUp allows you to send and receive all of your rent-related messaging -- including maintenance requests -- via the RenterUp application.

By using RenterUp messaging instead of email or phone calls, you will have quick and easy access to the history of these communications for future reference. You will also be able to leverage the ticketing-system aspect of maintenance requests (see here for more details).

If you have unread messages, a red badge will be displayed next to the "My Account" icon in the upper-right, indicating the number of new messages. You will also be alerted via email and in your Activity Feed whenever you receive a new message.
